Item with false tracking
eBay needs to do something before anyone else becomes the next target. Why does eBay delete the negative feedback left by buyers who get ripped off by these thieves??? I have been buying and selling on eBay for over 10 years and will be closing all of my personal and business accounts due to eBay’s complete disregard for their buyers transactions. Confidence is gone and so is my business.

·1 year agoOne more thing, even if you cannot post negative feedback, if they left a positive feedback on your profile right after the sale, you can reply to that and state what happened. Anyone looking at their profile under "Feedback": "Left for others" will see it, especially if you leave a long reply that visually stands out.

·1 year agoI wouldn't cancel EBay for this. It's really one of the only sales venues where you can find unique and hard-to-find curios, NOS items and often some really good deals.
I had a similar experience recently, some blame-the-victim comments on the forum, but I was really just trying to make a post that could serve as a warning to others. Total scam but I actually won the case, and because they refunded my negative was also deleted. Thank you for posting this bad experience.
I've seen advice on this forum that when there's fake delivered tracking but the item never came then the recourse is to open an INAD case and proceed from there or alternately only pay with a credit card offering strict buyer protection and slam them with a chargeback. You can still do a chargeback if you lost the case.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new. Please read the following thread to see what your options are when you are a victim. You do have a few, just don't do them all at once..LOL. I am sorry to not post this for you personally, but I would be doing it about five times a week here.
Do come back if you have specific questions, and pay particular attention on what NOT to do.

·1 year agoUnfortunately, since your item shows delivered, you lost the case, and your neg fb was removed. Did you get a statement from the shipping service that the pkg was not delivered to your address? You can use that in an appeal.
