item returned to sender
I bought an item but provided a wrong address and it was returned to the seller. Now the item appears as delivered but in fact is delivered to the sender. The seller doesn’t answer any questions and eBay has decided I’m not eligible for any refund. The Item cost $295, and $333 including shipping.
Just be careful when you type the address otherwise you can lose a lot of money.
When I typed it, something happened, there were automatic suggestions for corrections and I messed it up.

·2 years agoInstead of going silent, your seller could have voluntarily refunded less their shipping and listing costs when your item bounced back to them.
Now you have up to three ways to get your refund, @calinvass1 depending on how you paid. First
- find the item in your Purchases page and select More actions > Return this item
- to start a Return Request using the MISSING PARTS OR PIECES reason.
The seller will have 3 business days to refund, otherwise if they cannot issue a prepaid return label overseas come back and step in to ask eBay to issue that refund.
Or file an Item Not Received dispute here because PayPal does consider anything delivered when it was delivered back to the seller. And then just wait 5 days for your refund.
Otherwise file a Merchandise Not Reveived chargeback with your card issuer, and provide that tracking number showing delivered back to the seller, to get your refund.

OP2 years agoI’ve tried to select “return†but it asked me to call the delivery company to pick up the item so I thought they would then use this as a proof I didn’t actually return anything, so I had to cancel and now return is not available anymore.
for ‘item not received’ action the reply from ebay was I’m not eligible for a return.
I didn’t pay with paypal so I can’t use that option
now I just bought another identical item from that seller, hopefully it will go without problems.
