Item not shipped after 3 months
I have buy an item at last year December, finished the payment at the same day.
The seller describe the shipment will arrive in 7-11 days but the eBay's estimated deliver day is 3 months after, at mid of March. We are not very far away so even with the affect of Covid19 I can expect the item can be deliver within a month.
The seller shipped 9 days later but the tracking number only shows label created when I check it, no change after 2 weeks. I think the seller maybe using some non-trackable shipping so I waited for half and a month but the item still not arrived.
At Feb when I check the tracking number, it becomes tracking number not find, I guess a shipping label will be deleted by the post office after not used for one month.
I contacted eBay to see what can I do if the seller is using a fake ship tracking number and didn't ship the item, eBay told me to contact seller for a updated shipment info because still within the estimated deliver day. I asked how can he has over 90 days for estimated delivery and eBay said it is generated by the system and he has nothing can do with it.
So I contacted the seller, but he didn't give any useful reply nor shipment update.
And I waited one more month until March, I contact Paypal and open an INR case, then the seller instantly contact me and ask me to close the case first. I ignored the message and the seller shipped the item with a new tracking number. Again, the shipment stopped at label created. I think the seller just do that to proof Paypal he has send the shipment out, I already lost all the trust on this seller, I just want my money back.
One week later the carrier suddenly message me the item is received from the seller and will deliver tomorrow, but I don't feel like to receive it because I don't know what is sending to me from a untrusted seller.
I told Paypal this situation and asked if I can refuse the deliver and ask carrier to return it to the buyer, and Paypal said it is ok for that.
Then I called the carrier to hold and return to item to the seller, and the seller collected the return next day.
Two days later the seller send the item again, I have asked the seller don't send it to me and let paypal finish the case, but the seller said if I refuse to receive the package, carrier will destroy the item and I won't get any refund.
I asked carrier to hold and return it again and ask what if I refuse to sign for the deliver, they told me they will ask the sender did he want to return it or just destroy, it is always the sender's decision.
I don't know what can I do right now or what to expect. This is the second time I use eBay and I just like feel if I will lose my money...
