Item not received and ebay closed my appeal
Hi, I really need some help. I bought an item on eBay and the seller claimed to have delivered it. It shows delivered and was shipped through FedEx but the pickup store said they have not received the item. There was no barcode generated for pickup and the Delivery address on the FedEx document shows it was delivered to another location. I raised an appeal on Ebay but Ebay closed the case stating that the item was delivered. I want to appeal the decision but can't find a way to do so. I am thinking of contating the police about this. I need your support please. Thanks

Did you use a freight forwarding company? The seller has to provide tracking that shows delivery to the address included with the order, but the tracking information that eBay receives may not be specific enough to show exactly where it was delivered, only the general area.
You need to find out of the tracking number corresponds to the delivery address you provided with the order or not. If not, you need documentation that shows that.

And unless there's evidence that it was stolen from the buyer's mail receptacle or porch, the PD won't get involved.
You need to get written evidence that FedEx delivered it to the wrong location.
Or to get evidence that it was addressed to the wrong place.
The first would be an error on the part of FedEx. The latter would be the fault of the seller.
