Item never delivered to me
I need some help. I ordered an ice maker. It never was delivered, but the tracking said it was. It was not delivered to me. I swear to Almighty God. I filed a case with Ebay. It was closed with no refund because the seller showed a tracking, that it was delivered. I'm sure it was delivered somewhere, just not to me. I tried to appeal it but they wanted me to prove to them where it was delivered. Now, just how can I do that? How do I know where it went? I could not get my appeal to submit to ebay.........site wont take it. Not without proof by me of where it went. Help, please.

Recently, the same thing happened to me, and luckily my knowledge of Ebay helped.
I took the tracking number to my local post office, and they were able to tell me that the package was NOT addressed to me nor my address, just same zip code.
I got that all in writing on the post office stationery.
I appealed the denial of my Refund Request and provided the documentation.
Ebay issued a full refund to me.

·1 year agoHave you been in contact with the Seller? Have you contacted your Post Office? They should be able to give you the exact location of where the package is or went to.
If it was actually delivered to the wrong address, They should retrieve it Or you can file 'lost' package claim to receive a refund. I have had packages say they were 'delivered' and after a phone call, found out they were 'lost' in the back room of the Post Office. Things happen...
If the package was actually delivered to Your home, then a 'Stolen package' report should be made.

The fake tracking scam is the number one problem plaguing ebay at the moment. We hear about it daily on these boards. Unscrupulous seller lists the ice maker, OP pays, seller sends a ball point pen or a bag of peanuts to an address in OP's zip code. Tracking shows delivered. When the buyer opens an INR case, ebay sees tracking showing delivered. Buyer loses. Ebay sees the same tracking any of us do, they don't have the authority to get exact delivery information. This is why the standard recommendation on here is for the buyer to open a case with their credit card company, or open an INAD (item not as described, doesn't match description) case.

If the item was shipped using the USPS open the link below and click on the Go To Best Answer button, to find out how to get the info you need to successfully Appeal the decision. Unfortunately, UPS & FedEx will not give you the info you need. The

Rather than using ebay's appeal button, in the dispute you lost, you will probably get better results by going through their social media platforms with the info you get.

Really, they don't want "where it went", but rather some sort of proof that it was not delivered to you. You do have options to get a refund, they just are NOT going to involve "item not receive" (aka INR) for you will lose no matter where you seek redress. Start thinking FRAUD/fake tracking scam.

·1 year agoSorry to hear you are going through this. Once an package states delivered there really isn't much that can be done.

·1 year agoThere is if one files a different reason than INR. I mean it is a transaction that's Not As Described is it not?

·1 year agoThat is the fake tracking number scam. Search this board for it. There is a lot of info about it. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company.
