Is CS still available on Instagram??
I know customer service was discontinued through Facebook and X. After that it was still available through Instagram, but I seem to remember reading it had been discontinued there as well. But I'm stumped as to where I read it, so can anyone in the know confirm or deny that Instagram CS is still available??

eBay still directs users to its official www.instagram.com/ebay . However, replies are said to be slow, and the reps less helpful.

·6 days ago · EditedI seem to recall a very recent thread from a community regular lamenting that while Instagram support was still an available option, it was not nearly as good as the old X and Facebook support, which seemed to be much more responsive compared to the current sluggish level of service at Instagram.

OP6 days agoInteresting thread, thanks for the link. So from that I'm thinking there's not much to be gained from diverting people from regular CS to Insta.

·6 days agoIt depends. Some folks have trouble navigating the chat assistant to request a call back. And some folks, for one reason or another (location, VOIP, spam blockers, provider issues) can't seem to get a call back from eBay. Some issues that require lots of information or documents to be exchanged (such as "false tracking") are better handled by direct message compared to a phone call, and lately getting a human via chat has become a quite a challenge from what I understand.
I encourage posters to ask general questions here for advice from experienced users, but also offer instructions on requesting a call back via the Help page, and a link to Instagram if the call back does not work.
