Intellectual Property Rights Disturbed
Summary: lofeis_12 shared a frustrating experience with a seller on eBay, detailing a delayed delivery and an issue with an empty box. They were unable to return the item initially due to the seller's no-return policy. Other participants advised lofeis_12 to file a "Not As Described" return case through eBay's Money Back Guarantee, which would override the seller's policy. 1786davycrockett noted that the discussion's header mentioning "Intellectual Property Rights Disturbed" did not align with the content shared.
Dear Ebay Support Staff:
Immediately after placing my order earlier this month I received the item from the state just across the way (a few lakes) and right next door basically AFTER at LEAST 10 days wait.
Actual area was at the Ozarks in Branson, MO.
When trying to reach out to the seller to notify that the product was missing, I got an email notification saying they were unreadable as they were currently on vacation until middle or end of the next week. When I finally got an answer, I heard and read a response to go through Ebay to get my return authorization. Ultimately and eventually, I received this:
"Hello, I am not accepting your request to return this item and receive a refund, as I provided good pics and a clear written description of what was being sold. Also, I do not accept returns."
Granted I know or am quite aware that Branson, MO is full of people with gambling addictions and money could get tight for them. Tough cookies. That is someone who should never go out to casinos or other "vacations" spots. I never do. I do not often even go across the state to such places. There are those types here also. Those functions or activities do not interest me.
I want to return her fancy empty box. Tis the season. Like a magician with a saw and a casket or a box and an illusion, I am completely mystified by and yet must admit not madly in love with her ghosting principles in order to rip off a fellow lady human being like I'm a cockroach under her feet.
No Thank You

·5 days agoThe OP's header states "Intellectual Property Rights Disturbed" -- but her original statement has included zero regarding "intellectual property rights."
Is this the Reader's Digest version?

A seller can post a No returns policy, but it only works for Remorse return reasons Ex: Didn't fit (when a size was provided) Changed my mind, Found it for less. Other than those reasons they have to accept a return and pay the return shipping cost.
You should open the link below to read the terms and time frames of eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG). If you use a computer bookmark it for future use. Or on most ebay listing pages, in the right hand column, look under the accepted payment service icons for the
Shop with confidence header under it it says eBay money back guarantee and there is a
Learn more button that takes you to the MBG policy.

·6 days ago@lofeis_12 The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrides the seller's personal selling rules.
Just file a "Not As Described" return case against the seller, and the seller will be forced by eBay to refund you and accept the return.
