Inquiry into International Sellers & Shipping

Question

Hello to everyone! I haven't posted any new queries on the forum in a long time (a few years, in fact).

I frequently use geo-ship.com to search for specific items being sold in other regions/countries. Quite often, there is a 50-50 chance that a merchant will offer worldwide shipping. So my concern is, if the seller's shipping options specify that they may or may not offer internal shipping, would it still hurt to ask? I can offer any necessary translations when contacting them, but I wanted to obtain your feedback so that I don't waste any of these merchants' time with unnecessary questions.

Also, if you know of a website where you can estimate the probable delivery cost of an internal package, please let me know. (Many thanks!)

Can't speak for other sites, but, on eBay, each individual seller specifies where he will ship to. The buyer sees this information in each individual listing.

There are also some sellers/items that are available for local pickup only.
