Import fees
I’m looking to make a big purchase from an international seller on eBay soon. However, at check-out it said “This item includes applicable import fees — You won’t pay anything extra after checkoutâ€
Let’s say the total bill is roughly $145 including intl shipping fees. I will not have to pay anything extra after this yes?

Yes, that is correct. That wording is used when eBay is collecting the duty, tariffs and service fees at checkout. eBay has several shipping programs, where eBay collects the import fees including all duty and tariffs at check out.
If you are purchasing from the UK, sellers there can use the Global shipping Programme. Sellers in Canada are able to use the eBay International Shipping. Many items being shipped from China are required to be shipped by eBay's program called SpeedPAK. All of these programs collect all the import fees at checkout.

OP6 months agoI’m ordering some Disney Nuimo outfits from a seller in China. They assured me that I won’t have to pay any extra fees after purchase. So I should be good yes?

Then you should be fine.
With SpeedPAK shipping from China, the seller is required to pay the import fees when they purchase the shipping label, so they are included in the either the purchase price or the shipping cost.

·3 weeks agoI have an issue now. posting said "This item includes applicable import fees—you won’t pay anything extra after checkout." The seller did not pay and e b a y says it is my problem, not the sellers.

Many goods coming from China use SpeedPAK shipping, which includes import fees, duties, and taxes directly in the checkout price. If the listing says there are no import fees it's quite likely using SpeedPAK. The shipping carrier section of the listing should specify if it is.

·6 months agoItems says the 'fees' are 'already paid' so not sure what/why you are asking? (an IMPORT fee IS Customs Fees)

·6 months agoNothing to do with a checkout on eBay…you’re going to get fee amount from US customs, assuming that you are in US..
