I was just double-charged the seller says that it was eBay that there was a clinch in their system.

I had duplicate amounts taken out for one order. The seller told me that it was nothing she could do but refund my money for one of the charges which canceled my order. I was double-charged I'm still owed $33

The first charge was a hold put on the funds.

The second charge is the actual payment.

Once the payment is completed the hold will be removed.

They are correct. No seller handles payments.

Billing is 100% managed by ebay until payment is sent from ebay to seller. Duplicate charges are fully an ebay issue alone. However, be away there are authorizations & also actual charges. They pair up & drop off as a single instance. If your account truly has been charged twice after 48 hours, then ebay you must be a contacting...

If you used a cc or debit, there is always a pending charge which is removed when the actual transaction charge is approved and goes thru.
