I want to order something from Japan, would this cost me a lot in customs/taxes?

·11 months agoLikely to be 15% down from a previous rate of 20%.
Whether there will be a customs clearance fee will depend on how the seller ships the item.

There is currently a 15% tariff on goods from Japan, and the prior de minimis exemption for the first $800 no longer applies. So you'll also be responsible for import charges of about $80.
