OP1 year agoFrom what I read on the Internet and your answers, I guess they won't pay attention to me, but for me the question is a matter of principle.
I ordered a used motorcycle tank, which in the photos was fully equipped, and in the description it said that it was removed from a healthy machine without damage. During the purchase, I wrote to the seller if the key for the cap was available to send it to me. In the end, the tank came without any of the elements in the photo, except for the cap, which not only did not have a key, but it turned out that the lock on the cap was broken (in the locked position) and accordingly, in order to remove it, I had to think of how to break it further, which could cause additional damage to the tank, which turned out to have two dents and one curvature, which were not in the photos or in the description.
I wrote to the seller, who replied with a sneer, "What do you expect for this amount of money?" and after I told him I would send a negative feedback, he replied that if I did, he would sue me. And just to add for the same amount of money, there were better preserved ones, but I settled on his because it was equipped and according to the description, without damage, just rust.

·1 year agoWhy didnt you just file an item not as described case for a refund? The seller would have been responsible to provide you with a return label. If he did not, on the fourth day you ask Ebay to step in, and you would have been refunded without having to return the item.Filing a case is the only way to put a bad seller on Ebays radar. Enough of those and his account will be closed.

OP1 year agoI would, but it wouldn't be beneficial to me, because the shipping costs would be similar to the price of the tank, if not higher, because I ordered it from Italy, to an address in Italy, and from there a courier company transported it to Bulgaria. I just want to give negative feedback, for obvious irregularity and inadequate behavior.

Since they can't issue you a label, they must provide you the funds to buy a label.

·1 year agoThat's an unfortunate downside to using a freight forwarding company when you want to return an item.

·1 year agoWhen you open an item not as described case and are required to return the item in order to be refunded, the seller is the one who pays for the return shipping.

The item you received was NAD (not as described). Open a return request for that reason!

Although his attitude and the NAD item may have warranted negative feedback, had you left it (or if you leave it), the seller can have it removed for feedback extortion. NEVER, EVER threaten negative feedback.
Just follow the rules on ebay, open claims for NAD items and after resolution, THEN leave whatever you think is appropriate.

OP1 year agoI don't see how giving negative feedback is a threat when you receive inadequate communication from the seller and you receive a product that does not match the photos and description. In my opinion, it is normal to share your intention given the situation and for him to decide whether to take any action or continue to behave inadequately and for you to take action in turn. But I understand and in the future I will approach it more carefully.

·1 year agoLeaving negative feedback is allowed after a transaction is over and closed.
Threatening to leave it in order to get the seller to comply with your demands or because you don't like his "attitutude is not allowed.
I'm not saying that being unhappy about a NAD item you received doesn't give you the right to express your dissatisfaction in feedback but threatening the seller will get YOU sanctioned.
Again, just file a NAD return, get your refund and then think about what type of feedback you might leave. Be aware that other sellers often check buyers' feedback left for others and if they think you're a hothead and that you leave too many negs, they may block you.

·1 year agoWhat do you feel is acting inappropriately? I have reported a few fake overseas guitars. I just got a message of "We have removed listing" or "We found this does not violate Ebay Terms". You won't get detailed info.

·1 year agoNope, you did your part. Ebays will never tell what actions were taken, if any.
