I received the wrong item, a scam.
I received the wrong item, a scam.
I bought a Dewalt XR impact drill and received a box of batteries...
The seller shows me video surveillance images, and I can see the FedEx agent correctly retrieving the package.
The seller doesn't accept returns. What can I do?
Thx.

You have received correct info from the last 2 people who have posted. But you may not know what NAD and MBG mean. NAD = Not As Described. MBG = Money Back Guarantee.
You can find a link to the MGB policies and time frames for using it, on every listing page under the Payment icons, below the Shop With Confidence header. Click on the underlined Learn more button.

Go to the order and select More Actions
Open a return for Item Doesn't Match Description.
Seller will be required to send you a return label or give you money for shipping if they are outside the the US.
Do NOT close that return until you have been refunded.

OP1 year agoHi!
But what happens if the seller doesn't want to give me my money back?

·1 year agoShould that be the case, you ask eBay to step into the case and they'll refund you from the seller's funds.
And, BTW, the seller's "does not accept returns stance" has no standing when a buyer opens an NAD case.
You really need to read the MBG. It's for your own protection.
Think about this: If sellers could state "No Returns", would anyone ever shop on eBay, knowing that they could buy a diamond ring, be sent a box of rocks and have no recourse?

@soh.maryl Is absolutely correct. Once the seller has received the return, if they don't refund, you ask eBay to step in.
When you open the case, seller will have a little time to accept the return and issue a label, if they don't, come back here for help.
