I received a book order, 1 of 5 books damaged, I contacted seller, he has not responded it has been 10 days.

Thank you for your reply,They were all offered as a single lot..Seller asked for photo of damaged 2014 Ford F-150 "Quick Reference Guide Booklet" 8 pages stuck together. Did not ask for returns..Seller after receiving photos response "give me sometime I need to check my inventory..."on Jan 2, 2023

I agree that 10 days is plenty of time... but you have 30 to open a Return. When you want to be made whole... open that Return. Quite possibly that will 'jump-start' your seller... to either approve, partially refund or ignore. If the seller approves it, you'll have to return everything on the order. If the seller offers a partial refund, consider it and make that decision then. If the seller ignores it, escalate it to eBay when allowed through the case timeline. Good luck.

Were the books offered as a single lot?
If so, and if the seller demands return before refund, you will be required to return all five books, not just the damaged one.

Were there five listings shipped together, and only one book was damaged?

If the seller demands return, you will only have to return one book.

Note that the return shipping label will probably be for Media Mail which is tracked and reliable, but slow.

You will not be refunded until the seller has the book back in his hands.

10 days is long enough to wait for a response. I suggest you start a case in eBay resolution center. Make sure you send eBay a photo of the damaged book. Once you win then send back the books with a tracking number and eBay will send you a refund.
