I need to contact customer service urgently.
Summary: scairon23 is seeking assistance to contact eBay customer service due to a scam by a seller, but is facing difficulties with AI-assisted help. christworks, kensgiftshop, and gurlcat suggest providing more details so they can offer guidance. lady_madonna provides step-by-step instructions to contact eBay customer service, including using specific keywords and social media options. mudshark61369 questions scairon23 on their familiarity with eBay's Money Back Guarantee and offers assistance for specific issues like the fake tracking scam.
I need to contact eBay staff, but with the AI-assisted help, it's nearly impossible. How do I do it? I was scammed by a seller and I can't find how to open a case or do anything at all, because it's all an AI assistant that never connects me to a real representative.

It is getting more and more difficult to contact eBay and it is likely that, if you do, the information you receive from the CS agents will not be correct. They cannot know the answer to every problem from the millions of people on eBay so they usually just tell the caller what they want to hear, and they do not have the authority to do anything or fix anything.
This board is made up of buyers and sellers with years of knowledge and experience and you will probably receive replies that will tell you how to handle your problem because the people here have "been there, done that".
I hope you will return here and let us help you.

You have been a member for about 16 years and still do not know how ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) works, despite there being a link to the policy and its time frames for use on almost every listing page?
Just about the only problem the MBG has trouble with is the fake tracking scam, which is when a tracking number shows delivered within your zip code, but you do not receive anything. If that is what happened let us know and we can tell you how to go about getting a refund. eBay's CSRs will not be able to help you with it.

·2 weeks agoWe can help you better than the poorly-trained overseas CSR's, but not if you abandon your thread.

·2 weeks ago@scairon23 There likely is not a need for you to actually speak with someone at eBay. Can you post some details about what is going on. You say you were scammed. What happened? When did you place your order? Did you recieve anything at all from the seller, even if it isn't what you ordered?
If you can provide us some details, we can direct you to what you need to do.
