I've been recently having problems not being able to buy things here with a prepaid visa. I've been using prepaid visas here for 5 years with no problems. I can still use the cards on other sites just fine.
I too, am having problems with my prepaid Visa gift card not being accepted! I have been using them for a long while on Ebay. Now, It keeps saying transaction not being completed and for me to try another card. **bleep** is going on? I owe people money from an auction I won on Ebay. these sellers are losing money but I can't pay them if eBay don't fix this problem!
Yeah, it's pretty frustrating especially since I've been using various brands of prepaid visa cards for over 5 years now with NO problems. A user in another thread said that ebay told them this is a technical issue and they're working on a fix, but we won't know when it's fixed until we can successfully use our cards again. I had to have two of my items cancelled because of this, one an auction and one a buy it now.

You are a new member, and as one you may still be limited in how much you can spend at one time, or how many items you can purchase in a 24 hour period. The link below explains the limits.
When purchasing gift cards, you may not be able to use them within a few hours of buying them. Some stores only transmit sales info once or twice a day. So the info may not reach eBay to let them know the card balance for 12 or more hours.
