I have ripped off by a seller. They printed a label then never shipped it. I messaged and no answer.
After 3 weeks I requested a return. still no contact from the seller. What is my recourse.

·4 months agoPlease read the MBG. Hopefully, this will be the last of your shopping issues here, but, just in case, you need to know what to do if there is a problem. You are well protected by the MBG, but you need to read it, understand it and use it in a timely fashion.

Did you check the feedback profile of the seller you bought from, before making the purchase? If not you should do that now, and if you do not know how to view the classic feedback profile page open the link below and click on Go To Best Answer.
Your seller could have a fair number of feedback and even a 100% rating but all for buying at least in the last year. Many new or returning sellers do not know about the 30 day hold ebay places on the payments of their first several sales. On their sold item page the payment status shows Pending or Processing, some will create a shipping label thinking the funds will be released soon, but do not ship, because of the Pending notice.
If you find that your seller is a new or returning one and still want the item, try messaging them again, tell them if they have not shipped the item because of the Pending payment notice, to do a google search for " Payments on hold, ebay ". If they do that they will get the info they need to ship your item and get the funds released.
In the future never go by a seller's feedback percentage alone.

What do you mean by 'I requested a return'? If you opened a return case through eBay, that was the wrong thing to do, as you have nothing to return. If that's the case you'll have to turn to your payment source.
If you didn't open an official eBay case you need to look in your purchase history or confirmation email and find the last estimated delivery date. On the day after that date, and for 30 days thereafter, you can to go to the item in your purchase history and click 'I didn't receive it' under More actions to open a Money Back Guarantee case. I would suggest you might want to read up on eBay's Money Back Guarantee, which is linked in every listing.

OP4 months agothanks. yes. I did the wrong thing.
I am now attempting to determine how to rectify that.
purchase was Apr 24.
I received a tracking number May 5 but the package was never shipped.
Seller won’t respond , kept my $300 and never shipped.

·4 months agoIf you mistakenly filed a Return Request, you cannot file a Refund Request aka "Item not received".
If the estimated date of delivery has passed already (according to the order details in your Purchase History), you can file a dispute through Paypal or through the funding source you used to pay for the item.
