I has a question
I broke something.
Ordered a replacement on eBay on May 27th.
Chose a seller fairly near to me to get it quicker.
Said by June 6th.
June 2nd I get a message saying out of stock, wanting me to wait until the 14th (broken/poor english).
(So now I know it's a drop shipper, with no inventory, ordering one from China, to fill my order. Which, I could have done myself, cheaper).
So, I ignore that message, and order from a different seller that claims to have one in stock/fast shipping.
Today, I get a message from the 1st seller again...........
"Hello, friend, our items are shipped from two warehouses, if you receive an extra small accessory first, please rest assured to accept it, the item you purchased is on the way in transit, please be patient, I check the logistics show that it is expected to arrive at your address on the evening of June 14th, if there is new information I will notify you by email as soon as possible, thank you for your understanding, I wish you a pleasant experience‌‌â€â€â€â€â€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€â€Œâ€Œâ€â€â€â€Œâ€â€â€â€Œâ€â€â€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€Œâ€â€â€Œâ€â€â€Œâ€Œâ€â€â€â€Œâ€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€Œ"
To which I ignored as well.
Planed to return the item when/if it ever arrives.
BUT, I see than in order to cover their Seller Metrics on shipment date, They are going to ship me a postcard or something just to get a tracking number moving in the system.
My question: Do I return the postcard (which would for sure be NAD), or the item? ðŸ˜

·2 years agoIt's because what you are buying seems to be Chinese crap only made oversees.. If you want cheap Chinese crap just sit tight in your chair and wait for it, it's on a cargo ship in the Pacific on the way to you

·2 years agoThe tracking number should be attached to the postcard or whatever junk they ship, so return it.

·2 years agoYes as soon as you get it, if not what you ordered, open a not as described.
Don't let them string you along and run down the 30 day clock.

·2 years agoI'd return the postcard as SNAD. Once they have tracking in the system to 'confirm delivery', there is no guarantee they will ever send you the item you actually ordered. All the other junk is to keep their metrics up, which they do not deserve.

·2 years agoI read another post of a guy getting shoelaces to get the tracking started. I would guess they have a US partner they work with.
