I got a digital Ebay Gift Card but confirmation email did not contain the cards redemption code

I requested to return an item and was given the option to have my credit card reimbursed or get an Ebay gift card.
I picked the gift card. Within a day I got an email from Ebay telling me my return request was accepted by the seller and that
my Ebay gift card is ready. I checked my account -payments and saw the gift card was there showing the amount. I found an item I wanted and
chose to make the payment using my gift card. This option asked for the redemption code that came in the email telling me the
gift card was ready. That email did not include a redemption code or a link to it. I have not received any other emails concerning
this gift card. I have checked my junk and spam folders for an email from ebay and there is none. How can I get the redemption
code for my Ebay gift card?

·1 month agoThe code is either directly included in the email you received or can be accessed from it. It is a 13-digit number that acts as your unique redemption key. Often, the email won’t display the code as plain text right away. You need to click the "Redeem Now" button in the message to reveal or generate the code.
If you can’t locate the code or the Redeem Now link in the email, log into eBay and navigate to the drop-down menu: "My eBay > Summary," then select the Account tab. On the main Account page, look for a link to Payment and Gift Cards. If you don’t see Gift Cards, it might be labeled Digital Cards or found under the Payments section. The redemption code should also appear in the digital card details within the Gift Cards area of your account.
Based on your message here, it seems more than 3 hours have passed since you requested the gift card, but if not, keep in mind that it can take up to 3 hours for the digital delivery of the redemption code to be completed.

·1 month agoYeah I always get credit card reimbursed, I have had problems with physical ebay gift cards in the past and no longer trust gift cards.
That said do your email have "images" blocked (it's a type of security setting), it is possible you have images blocked and the code is actually in that image?
Hopefully someone else can chime in as well, someone with actual experience in the matter.
