·1 month agoNo Hijacking. No Malware. You clicked 'agree' when Microsoft first presented it.
It is NOT an 'Ebay' thing.

·1 month agoHi Everyone, We here in New Jersey had the same issue with "Edge." Tried clearing our cookies/cache and restarting with no joy. Finally dropped "Edge" & started using "Chrome." Now we are all good. Worth A Try. Good Luck!

·1 month agoSometimes it's the website that gets hijacked a bit.
Look at EcommerceBytes for example. Couldn't really access it this morning as in a few seconds the screen would turn into a page , same address, basically telling you that firefox needs updating.
Same on a couple of pc's. It's cleared up now and back to normal.

Go to settings, click on the 3 dots at the right top of Edge
Privacy, search, and services
Save time and money with Shopping in Microsoft Edge
Turn that off
They change things whenever there is an Update, like changing your default photo app to theirs, I hate those people more than Apple

This isn't something coming from eBay, so there's nothing they can do about it. It sounds like you've picked up some kind of malware. Your first step should be to scan your computer.

·1 month ago · EditedI think someone typing in all caps has no idea of how to get rid of a trojan.
Their best bet is probably throwing away that computer and starting over.
...probably will just get a free scan from a popup that says you have 17 viruses, click here to get rid of them
