Package shipped from china.
Tracking is chinese.
order status says delivered sunday but no one delivering anything on sunday.
Unable to open a not received claim due to missing function.
So ebay no longer gives buyers protection either ?

·1 year agoI'd give it a few days.
A lot of sellers are drop shipping items to a local delivery person.
I'll see where an item I purchased has been delivered on a Sunday (but wasn't).
Then, a few days later, somebody pulls up in the driveway in their personal car. Walks in and hands me an Amazon package containing what I ordered.

I too wonder how you know that tracking info written in Chinese was delivered on Sunday in the U.S.? It might just mean that it was delivered to an international carrier in China for forwarding to the U.S..
Most chinese sellers use shipping partners of the 3 main U.S. carriers and sometimes DHL. Those that do get a tracking number from the final delivery U.S. carrier which is posted in your order details, and that does not update until a package arrives in the U.S..
As for your screenshot, If you click on the Return item button, another popup list opens and I haven't received it is an option on that page.

'delivered Sunday'....'tracking is Chinese'...so how do you know it is delivered Sunday?
Sunday(us) is Monday + 15 hours in China.

But before you do that, you should know you will lose a non-receipt claim when tracking shows delivery.
What you need to do is contact the shipping carrier and see if that tracking number was addressed to you. If it was USPS, best to go into your local PO with a copy of your order showing your name, address and tracking number.
USPS does not need to tell you where it was addressed, just confirm whether it was addressed to you. If it was addressed somewhere else, ask them to put that in writing on USPS letterhead so you can file the claim with eBay.
If it was addressed to you, the seller and eBay are not responsible for porch theft. Your PO / mail carrier may be able to provide more info about where the package was left.

The link you provided is useless for Fake Tracking issues. I know there is one Header that says: Report That your item hasn't arrived but look just above it for "What to do if you provided an incorrect shipping address". There is nothing in the info that tells people how to deal with delivered to a different address.

·1 year agoI agree to an extent @mudshark61369 which is where the rest of my post comes in. We don't know enough yet to determine if it's fake tracking, porch theft, still in transit and passed between carriers, or something else. The link may still be relevant when we find out more.
Even if it is fake tracking, that page is relevant because it has a big blue button to "report an item you didn't receive" which is helpful if the option isn't appearing on order details. From there the buyer would need to follow up with customer service and provide the carrier's document to prove fake tracking. But the big blue button to initiate the claim is why I provided that link - because the buyer didn't see the option on order details.
I took this part of the original post, "order status says delivered sunday," to mean the order details on eBay show a delivered status. But, again, the buyer will need to come back and provide more info to get the most accurate advice for their situation.

Your reply is all true, but when I first heard about the tariff wars w/ China, the first thought in my mind was, the number of fake tracking posts on these boards is going jump exponentially.
