I can't buy a wanted item despite being able to ship to my country
Earlier I made a post regarding this issue but no one responded, hoping for any help this time: the message said "unfortunately this item isn't available for purchase in your location" showed up when I went to checkout/buy item even though the item was stated it shipped to my country and the seller said I wasn't blocked from buying or otherwise, I don't get why. I tried checking out as a guest and same thing happened (it did to similar items that were able to ship too).

eBay uses this "error message" when the seller hasn't made proper and adequate provision in his listing for shipping to a foreign country, and has nothing to do with your account or your location. If that is the reason, every attempt to buy made by a foreigner would meet with the same block, regardless of the country where they try to order from.

OP3 weeks agoThanks for clarifying, but I don't know if they properly did that. Only they said my country was listed as ship-to.

Could be that the item isn't allowed to be shipped to your country.

OP3 weeks agoNo? It can ship to there, I saw there's a fee below (seen on screenshot).
I talked to the seller and they said they shipped it to my country.
