I cannot change currency right!!!

1. Your UX is awful.

2. I know about 'Customize' menu in dropdown. Doesn't work properly.

3. I live in Bulgaria, and if you don't know, this year the country switched to Euro.

4. Yesterday my ebay prices switched from Euro to BGN (currency isn't even existed right now!)

5. When I go to Customize, it shows 'Convert prices to BGN'.
6. Even when it unchecked, ebay shows prices in BGN

7. Why I cannot just choose the currency I prefer?

8. Why do you hate your customers so much?

You are aware that you’re not addressing eBay here, right? It’s not my website or UX design you’re complaining about, nor can any of us here change it, though we can offer advice like @krazzykats did.

To change the currency shown on eBay using a desktop browser, sign in to your account, scroll to the bottom of any page, and click on Site or eBay Sites. Choose the country that matches your preferred currency (for example, United Kingdom for GBP or Canada for CAD). Then refresh the page to see prices updated in your chosen currency.

On the mobile app, open eBay and sign in. Tap the Menu (☰) icon, then go to Settings. Look for the Country/Region or Currency option, turn off Auto-detect if it’s enabled, and select your preferred country or currency. Restart the app to apply the changes.

For best results, make sure your primary shipping address matches your selected country to prevent auto-switching, and clear your browser cache if the currency update doesn’t show right away.

@krazzykats Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately, it still doesnt't work properly, like there are no EU or Bulgaria section in the dropdown, so US probably only the option.

@jonathanbrightlight Yes, thanks for clarification too, I thought I could contact to ebay stuff/sort of Help center, but looks like it's impossible.

I see Bulgaria in the list of countries, and choosing it did change the currency displayed. This was in the app but the site should have the same choices.

It's not on the drop-down site map; I had to do a search for "Bulgaria eBay".

I have no idea why it's not.
