I am a tax exempt buyer but eBay does not want to verify my VAT ID.
Does anyone else have problems with this? I am unable to complete my purchases. I have made no changes to my personal settings except adding a new delivery address. Everything has worked fine before.

You may need to register with eBay as a seller in order to register your VAT ID. If that doesn't work, or you have already done that, then you should ask about this on an eBay community based in Europe, where they will be more familiar with this issue.
Here's some info about VAT on eBay.com. This mentions registering your VAT ID so that eBay will not charge VAT, but it doesn't give any more details:

This is the .com (US) boards.
Not that someone may come by and have an answer but you may want to put this on the UK boards.
We dont have VAT so you may have better luck.

·2 years agoIf it started when you added the new delivery address then it's probably related to the new delivery address.
Is the new delivery address not a business? Do tax exempt sales require delivery to a business?
Just spitballing ideas here.
