@lmh-498,
Since you have (0) feedback and just joined ebay a couple of weeks ago, we need to know if you bought the item as a guest?
If you did buy as a guest, how are you going about trying to get a refund? If all you have done is to contact the seller, you need to read how to file a formal "return for refund" request through ebay. to do that open the link below.
A seller may request photos, but you are not required to send them, since photos may not prove anything. It would depend on the reason for requesting a return for refund, how you and the seller can respond to a formal dispute.
You should read the terms and time frames for using ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) in the link below, before filing a dispute. In some cases you may need to pay for the return shipping and send the item back to the seller with tracking to get a refund. Those cases are Buyer's Remorse issues, such as; I do not like it, it doesn't fit, I found one for less...
In most other cases the seller is responsible for paying the return shipping cost and sending you a return shipping label.
I suggest that you save or bookmark the above link for possible future use.
After reading the info in the above links, if you have questions, come back to this board and reply to your topic.
If it is off page one you can find it quickly by looking in the upper right corner of a community page where you will see your ebay generated ebay avatar circle. Click on that and select My profile.
On the page that opens below the banner with your info, you will see Posts Replies. on the left Posts are shown and all you have to do is click on its title to open it to reply or ask questions.
If you are using a computer here's what I do. Right click on the photo and choose open with 'photos'. Then right click the opened photo and choose 'save as'. Then 'save as type' and find jpeg on the dropdown menu.

Copy and paste a photo from the listing you purchased from.
Drag a drop a photo from the listing.
Save a photo as a jpeg and upload it to the return case.
You have to figure out how to get a photo into the return case, somehow. Ask a teenager for help.
