How to speak to a Live eBay support Chat
I recently purchased an LCD touchscreen display expecting it to be brand new. Unfortunately, the item I received was completely defective and did not meet the expected quality. I urgently need a replacement — a brand new LCD touchscreen — for my tablet. This item cost me nearly $100, and I believe I deserve a properly functioning product. Could you please guide me on how to proceed with getting a replacement?

I'm guessing you found this vehicle on a site other than eBay. It's definitely a scam. EBay is never involved in transactions found on other sites. There is no Sara Clark, whatever sob story she gave you is a bunch of hooey, and if you send gift cards you'll never see your money again. You need to report this to the site you found it on.

·11 months agoHaving a problem with payment think its fraud or a scam, #558711096715 is a 2004 Range Rover HSE, Ebay sent me a form and this number requestingthat i pay with two Aplle Gift cards never did i ever had to run out and get two gift cards to buy anything on ebay, this woman claims that Ebay is selling this vehicle for her, Her name and email ID, thats all i have from her, no number just email. is she for real and is this docit number real

·11 months agoThere is no car, that is not the real name of the person you’re talking to, and unfortunately there is no way to recover the money you have already given them. Stop communicating with the scammer immediately.

·11 months agoYa, forget about any replacement, follow the return advice by filing an item not as described. Get your money back, and then repurchase the item once you find someone or someplace that has what you need

I would add to the helpful advice above that you should never try to get a replacement for a detective or not as described item. The replacement process almost always takes you beyond eBay's deadline to open or escalate a case. With a less-than-ethical seller this can leave you with no replacement and no refund.

·11 months agoOpen a return request from your purchase history. The reason sounds like it should be Item Not As Described. Once the item is returned, you will receive a full refund. You can purchase a replacement before or after that happens, but the return process on eBay is typically not for a replacement product, but for a refund.
