I had a seller that was actively working on or so I thought on be a honest retailer. I purchased a couple of LED head lamps. I didn't get a chance to install them until after I was past my return time. I really wasn't worried as the item came with a 5 year warranty. Anyway, 1 bad out of the box. I reached out to the seller & had multiple exchanges on getting me a new bulb, no charge or so I thought. When I refused to purchase another 2 bulbs and just send me the one I needed. They ghosted me & acted like they had never interacted with me on any messages. Well, if nothing else I was able to vent. I can't even go back & leave a truthful review.

If you bought an item and it does not match the description or photo you go to your purchase history click on the More Actions or Return item button and file a dispute for Item Not as described (INAD) then select from the detailed reasons to the return.
If the item has not arrived and the last estimated delivery date has passed, then you take the same 1st step but select I haven't received it.
In both cases the seller will have 3 days to respond, if you filed an INAD they can send a return shipping label or a refund if they don't want to pay the return shipping cost. If you filed an INR they would have to provide proof that the item was shipped. In either case if the seller doesn't respond within 3 days, on day four you ask ebay to step in. This is all covered under ebay's Money Back Guarantee policy and there is a link to the policy on most listing pages.

Did not send your item? Open an item not received case.
Item not as described? Open an item not as described case.
Something else? Can you return and give details?
