How to get your refund when a seller send you a fake item
Hi Guys
I have been on Ebay since January 2014, and i was recently scammed by a bad seller. they basically send me a item that don't match the item description and Ebay automated assistant close my case without properly reviewing my information.
How can i go about solving this issue, I was robbed out of my hard working money .

·2 years agoIf eBay closed your case and you paid by credit card, contact your card company. If not, the payment service you used. What type of case did you file?

·2 years agoAs the others have posted, if you chose item not received, the bots would automatically close your case because tracking shows that something was delivered to you. If you chose not as described, you should still be in the game for a return/refund.

I am thinking as @tinsoldierunderground is. Isn't 'Return this item' still an option for you through the transaction?

My pleasure! I think you'll have no trouble, but if you do... your next recourse is PayPal (if you used them), then your CC. Godspeed.

·2 years agoTry this and see if it'll let you open a case.
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

·2 years agoWhen you open a return for Not As described, the seller sends you a return label you ship it back, the seller refunds. Those cases are always won by buyers. No ifs ands or buts. You must have chose something other than not as described to lose a return like that. Possibly you selected I didn't receive it. Which would cause you to lose the case.
Your only alternative now it to file a chargeback for Not As Described through your credit card pr PayPal.
