How to buy with VAT number with non-business account?

Hi
I don't want to sell nothing but i would like to by items with my VAT number.
Do i must upgrade my account to business or if not how can i buy with my VAT number?
I don't found any part of my account where i can type my VAT number. Ebay AI said i can buy with VAT number, but when i ask, how? It said: "not understanding the question..."

You may want to ask this on an EU eBay site -

This is the .com US site and a huge majority of the buyers and sellers here dont have VAT or a VAT number.

Yes we get this a lot - everyone dropped into the US site.

I hope you are able to get help on an EU site.

Thank you. I checked the EU site but there is no "EU" site. This is the only community and here is only a separate topic for "Europe" but there is no nothing there...

The UK community is a good option (for anyone else who may find this post, that link is: https://community.ebay.co.uk/ ) or the German community: https://community.ebay.de/ (of course only if you can read/write German or are comfortable using a translation tool).
