Both of you are claiming that ebay is telling you that you've been refunded. Ebay doesn't actually say that unless the payment was officially refunded so you have been refunded and you're both probably looking in the wrong place.
If you used Paypal to fund the payment (originally), go to your PP account.
If you used a credit card, check your account online and see if it is posted to your account yet.
Either way, you both did get the refunds.

·11 months agoThe refund goes back to the source and can take a few days to a whole billing period.

"file in a complaint'...eBay might have already done that depending 'why' it was cancelled...where seller might have gotten a 'ding' which is not good.

·11 months agoI am having this same issue. Never received the item(s) and seller claimed they issued refund - which they have not. Ebay will not help. Is being stolen from just ok?

Did you file an "item not received" case with eBay within thirty days of the last estimated delivery date?
Did you ask eBay to step in within twenty-one business days?

·11 months agoI did. I followed all the steps. The seller is not doing what they claimed, which was issue a refund. I'm unable to take further action because eBay says "case closed". But, its not closed - seller has my money and I have NOTHING.

·11 months agoSince you didn't receive your purchase, did you actually open an item not received case with eBay? Did you go to your Purchase History, find the item in question, and click on "did not receive"?

OP11 months agoThe seller did not even ship the item ship the item he just cancelled it and claimed it was stolen the item is now saying refunded but i have not received my money its now 9 days

If eBay says you have been refunded, the funds have been automatically sent back to your original payment source. How long it takes to be reflected in a bank statement depends on your bank. Some banks may take up to a full billing cycle for such a refund to appear.

·11 months agoIf it’s a credit card, it can take until the next billing cycle for it to appear. If eBay shows it as refunded, the process has started, it may just take a few days to complete.

If the order is canceled through eBay, the refund is automatically made to the original payment method. How long that takes to appear on a bank statement may depend on your individual bank.
