How does INAD work in 2025?
I have purchased 7 tubes of theraplexFT cream. Received 2. I don't want to return the 2 that I ended up with, I only want a partial refund for those that I didn't receive. Turns out that INAD as such does not exist in 2025. No kidding, there is no such link. I can only request a full refund but this isn't what I am looking for. I only want my $58 back for the missing tubes.
So here I am stuck. eBay CS aka dummy is of no help. It doesn't get it and I can't blame it. So far the seller is unresponsive.

·11 months agoYou do not have to return the two tubes that you have received, to get your partial refund for the other five.
The 'not as described' mechanics have not changed.
I have quantity 3 of an item arriving today. And I'm already able to click RETURN THIS ITEM from the Order Details page, select MISSING PARTS OR PIECES, and on the next page enter that 2 of 3 items are missing.
So @gonefishing_2715 go ahead to start a return request for missing parts or pieces, and report that 5 of 7 tubes are missing. If you get a prepaid return label, return the box missing the 5 tubes, to get your partial refund.

OP11 months agoI understand that eBay doesn't care. Yeah what else is new.
A chargeback is my next step. Will never buy anything from this XXXX place. Off I go to the river that never misdelivers.

In my experience the river doesn't always result in a complete order either.................

·11 months agoHi @gonefishing_2715
As someone who has been buying from both eBay and Amazon for many years … I can assure you that the latter occasionally ‘misdelivers’. [There isn’t a company or an individual in existence that has never made a mistake.]
That said, it usually is easier to get a mistake corrected on Amazon … mainly because Amazon is, itself, a seller, while eBay sells nothing.
[I’ve actually had my worst online buying experience with a 3rd party Amazon seller … including getting several 2:00am phone calls from the seller, demanding that I cancel my return request.]
BTW, I would agree with your requesting a chargeback of 5/7ths of your payment … if your seller isn’t being helpful.

EBay has never been able to force a partial refund. So while the 'not as described' mechanics have changed the options available to you as a buyer are the same as they've always been. You can request a partial refund through the return case, but the only thing eBay can force is a full refund after a return is received.

Unless you return the two tubes that you have received, you're stuck.
So go ahead and file a "not as described" case, return the two tubes received, and get your refund.
No brainer.

OP11 months agoI guess I am stuck. I want to use these two bc they are not sold anymore. I used these for my psoriasis for which there is no cure but remission is possible. This cream seems to help. It's out of production. So I guess I am stuck and eBay doesn't give a **bleep**. No one does, really.
P.S. I am not using account for sales.
