How do I report a possible scam to Ebay?

I believe eBay seller *** is a scammer. Despite reporting this through eBay's dispute process, I did not receive my item or a refund. I purchased furniture weighing 30 lbs. using PayPal but received nothing. The seller provided a tracking number for an envelope weighing 12 ounces, which was delivered to the wrong address in my zip code. USPS confirmed the tracking number belonged to the envelope sent by the seller. Both eBay and PayPal denied my appeals based on this tracking number. While I don't expect a refund now, I want to prevent other buyers from scams. Is there another eBay department that handles reports of dishonest sellers?

eBay facilitated us being scammed out of $4K all the while penalizing our account with an order defect. eBay charged us $200 for a PC return label bc they use their own account and not ours. The return delivered to a storage address miles from our address. We went through our Fedex reps to get a statement from them that the returned PC delivered to different address that wasn't ours. eBay gave all the money back to the customer even though the return was delivered to incorrect address. We appealed and eBay rejected it. eBay wouldn't remove the order defect so our account is below standard with 6% penalty fee. We've proceeded in removing all items. We had to switch to a new account where we won't list anything that is more than $200 now. We cannot trust eBay to handle returns fairly. Also, eBay provides us no points of contact. We don't have this issue with Amazon and Walmart which assign us account reps and ensure returns deliver back to our address.

That is a scam. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company. Let them know it's the fake tracking number scam.

This appears to be another typical case of the "fake tracking scam". If there is a "delivered" notice associated with your order you will lose any claim for ITEM NOT RECEIVED no matter where you file it. Please contact eBay via one of their social media platforms. They are very familiar with this scam that has been going on for over a decade here, AND have the authority to help you. They USED to be very strict with what they require as far as "written documentation" but that may no longer be the case. Ask for their assistance with a "FAKE TRACKING/wrong address FRAUD issue and see that they say.

Open the link below, click on the Go To Best Answer button and read what I wrote about how to get the info you need from the USPS to appeal again. eBay will not accept emails from USPS because they can be faked and that is why your appeal was turned down. In the info I provided to that topic I forgot to post the Social media addresses where you can reach actual ebay employees, the links are in the next reply though.
