How do I go about filing a refund claim with either PayPal or eBay due to item not being received?
Item not not received, seller not replying. It's time to enter a claim.

You have been buying on ebay for 20+ years and still haven't read ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) policy? The nuns we had in school would have whacked our knuckles or made us stand in the corner, for not doing something like that.

OP1 year agoCorrect. Shame on me, I suppose. Sorry for your having been subjected to that sort of strict Catholicism.

·1 year agoDid you check the tracking number? If so what does it show? If is shows delivered, don't open anything yet, come back and update that information because if shown delivered you would lose an item not delivered case.

OP1 year agoThe item was shipped untracked with an estimated delivery date of June 5th to June 9th.

·1 year agoYou need to open a claim now.
Always start with ebay. (If you open a claim through both ebay and PP, ebay will close the case. You can only have one claim open at a time.)
Go to the order and click on the dropdown. Choose that you haven't received the item.
The seller will have to respond with tracking showing delivery (which you say won't happen) or a refund.
If the seller doesn't respond within 3 days, go back to the case and ask ebay to step in.

A day after the estimated delivery date Ebay gave you, open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
