How do I get Ebay's phone number in order to report a larger scale thief????
There is a company selling dangerous broken power tools and not detailing they are broken. Open Box is different than totally broken.

·3 years agoDid you purchase something from this seller? As @mudshark suggested, eBay offers you a guarantee so that you can get a refund.
Also, on an unrelated topic, noticed your FB left for several sellers. Have to ask, when that happens, aren't you opening the appropriate cases with the MBG?

You do not need to contact ebay all you have to do is
If it has been less than 30 days since you received the tool, go to your purchase history and click on the Return item button. Select as the reason Was not as described and go from there. The seller will have 3 days to respond to the dispute by sending you a return shipping label. If they do not reply, on the 4th day go back to the dispute which will show on your my ebay summary page open it and ask ebay to step in. All of this is described in ebay's money back guarantee (MBG) policy (link below)

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

·3 years agoReporting is pointless. If eBay took actions against sellers solely on the basis of a member report it would make it fair game for sellers to eliminate their competition by reporting their listings. EBay has no idea who's right, you or the seller.
If you actually made a purchase from the seller that's not as described you can open a return case under eBay's Money Back Guarantee. EBay gives defects to the seller for those cases. Too many of those is how a seller gets kicked off.
