How do I correct my driver's license number that I entered wrong?
When doing the checkout for my vehicle I was asked for my license number. I left out of zero. There was no option to confirm that my information was correct and I can't figure out how to go back and fix it.
Is there a way to contact caramel dealer services directly??

Secure Purchase | eBay.com
Since this is so new I really am unsure how you correct information.
@mudshark61369 - This is a new program with Caramel that eBay has just started for vehicle purchases.

I guess things have drastically changed since I last bought a vehicle on ebay. I'm old school though and want to kick the tires, listen to an engine... and test drive one before paying anything for a vehicle.

Unless things have drastically changed since I last bought a car on ebay, there is no need for you to give your driver's license number to any seller. If you found the vehicle on another site like Craig's List or Marketplace... etc. that has a sob story or military deployment, as the reason for a low price, and the listing says the sale will be handled by ebay, you are dealing with a scammer and should cease contact with them immediately. eBay does not have holding centers, offer free vehicle shipping, with a 5 day inspection period. Nor do they specify that you need to buy gift cards in order to pay for the vehicle. That is one of the oldest online vehicle sale scams around. As soon as you give the scammer the gift card codes your money is gone and cannot be recovered.

OP1 year agoThanks, but this info isn't seen by the seller. It's part of ebay's secure purchase protocol using Caramel Dealer Services to verify buyer details. Their customer service is only available M-F so I'll call them then. It was an ordeal to find a way to talk to a live eBay rep - when I finally figured that out, they gave me Caramel's customer service number. Hopefully they will be more helpful than their FAQ/checkout process is.
