Help! Seller Spamming Jewelry Category
I know this may sound petty, but let me start off by saying until now, and my experience with the seller [Removed by mod], I’ve never made an official complaint against anyone on eBay, and never even left a negative feedback, I don’t want to be responsible for hurting someone’s livelihood. I buy and sell on eBay, but my main income comes from selling vintage jewelry at a brick and mortar, so I spend a good part of my day sourcing jewelry. However there is a seller who grossly abuses search manipulation and keyword spamming, and makes buying on eBay so frustrating. He has hundreds & hundreds of the same exact listings in the “buy it now”, but changes them slightly, like the price by a few cents or the weight, and obviously abuses keywords, and search manipulation, he also uses a few different stock photos. For example If I search a specific jewelry term such as “Bakelite”, I am literally flooded with hundreds of his listings with a few sporadic listings from others sellers thrown in here and there, the further you go down the listings the more his listings show up, until I just end up giving up. This hurts buyers and sellers. I’ve made several complaints to eBay, and also emailed him several times to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way for me to block his listings? Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. 😬

Yes … you certainly can block this seller’s listings from appearing in your searches.
The next time you do an Advanced Search … scroll down the screen to Sellers. Toggle ‘Include’ to ‘Exclude’ … and type the seller’s Username into the text box. You will not see any of their listings in your search.

There actually is one way to block their listings. If you search with Advanced Search, toward the bottom of that page is a Sellers section. In it select 'Only show items from' then change the dropdown from 'Include' to 'Exclude' and put the seller's name in the box. That will return search results without that seller's listings.

No, there's no way to block their listings.
