HELP! Need help taking action against a seller no longer active.
There was a purchase made at guest checkout. It has been 70 days since that purchase and still have not received item.
The seller is no longer a registered user so there is no way to contact them directly.
On my order email it says that it has eBay moneyback guarantee. But when I started a request with eBay, nothing is happening. eBay sent me an email but when I click on the "Take Action" button, the next page gives me an error message.
Every time I go to eBay chat support, they just take me through the exact same process as before. Nothing is getting resolved. What do I do? Did I get scammed and there is nothing I can do? The tracking package has moved sufficiently throughout the last two months, but has been in the exact same location since Dec 9 and no updates since then. I have even reached out to the carrier (JCEX) but haven't heard back.

'70 days'...was this an item that was 'pre-ordered'?
If not, nothing takes 70 days to ship to USA...

OP9 months agoIt would be so much easier if I was able to actually speak on the phone with customer service. This is driving me nuts. Haha

·9 months agoOpen a Not Received chargeback with the credit card you actually paid with.
You did the right thing going to eBay first, but is sounds like you hit a glitch. Don't keep repeating yourself.
Your credit card probably gives you 120 days from Purchase date to open the chargeback. Some give more but don't delay.
Technically the delivery is only about 10 days overdue. EBay protects buyers from fly by night sellers.

·9 months agoHave you read the MBG?
You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a claim.
I have never heard of JCEX.
What was the last estimated delivery date?

OP9 months agoEstimated delivery time was Nov 17-Dec 28.
It has been "out for delivery" since December 9.
