Help Identifying/Finding Mega Bloks Part
Need help in identifying this Mega Bloks Part...I am looking to buy some but I have no idea what set or Part Number this is....Or in fact if it is even something anyone has or is even available anymore. Any help would be appreciated

Edit to add: the following sets include this piece in various colors. I'm sure there are many other sets out there that use this piece. These are the few I was able to most quickly identify.

If the OP is determined to find more of these pieces they can put in that effort themself. They'll probably have the most luck searching for mixed lots of Mega Bloks / Construx as opposed to buying specific sets.

OP1 year agoNo..Searching through Lots hasnt yielded much.....I have 4 55 Gallon tubs full of miscellaneous parts I have purchased over the last 15 years and have only found a few.
I do look through the lots but if this part (or any others I may be looking for) aren't readily identifiable as being in the lot then I dont bother. I will ask for better pics of parts spread out if I am not sure, some sellers will help and provide, others ignore you or give you attitude.

I seriously doubt searching through "Lots" would help you identify the blok you have. It may be a piece that only came in a few sets, so you would have to search through specific Mega Block sets to find it.
You may be able to info about the part by searching online for "Mega Blok parts identification" or Mattel Mega Block identification. If you re-photograph the part on a plain background you may be able to do an online image search for the piece.

If you want to sell those bloks chances are that you have pieces from several different manufacturers Lego, Mega Blok, Construx ... since all of those makers put their name on just about all of their parts, sorting them by Mfr. name, and selling unidentified lots by Mfr. would be your best bet. I have seen them sold by the pound or by the number of pieces. They are a hot commodity at flea markets, garage sales and toy shows. If you have some of the really large bloks chances are they are either Mega Bloks or Jumbo blocks.

The piece the OP is trying to identify was originally made by a company based in Montreal Canada.

·1 year agoAs a uncle of 5 boys in one family we do legos and such.
The newer legos are not as small.
That is of a older version with only for building things.
I suggest maybe something made in Japan decades ago.
Might check under Japan toys of the earlier years.

That said google image was no help and I couldn't see that item in a general mega bloks search.

·1 year agoMega Bloks (or maybe it's Blox) are building toys, somewhat like Legos, only maybe not as popular. Since my toy chest toys are mostly thrift store purchases, I have a whole lot of both of those as well as other name brands plus older wooden blocks that I think my kids played with (and my youngest child is 60).
PS: There are over 60K Mega Bloks sets and assorted pieces listed on eBay. If you have the time, you could look at some of them and try to find sets that have parts like this or maybe find it in those listings that have lots of miscellaneous parts.

BLOKS is the generic term for all building blocks toys. Mega Bloks (look closely at the photo) is a brand that came out in 1985 as Large Blocks for Pre-school kids. In 1991 they introduced a line of smaller Micro "Bloks" to directly complete with Lego. The line was bought and became a subsidiary of Mattel.
