Got scammed by a seller and eBay sided with the scammer for both the case and the appeal
I bought an item that a seller shipped to an address that is not mine and made it out to someone else. The item weight, the name of the label and the address were all wrong. UPS will not help me because the package was never made out to me and I cannot confirm the address. eBay close the case on me because the seller said that the item was delivered. I started an appeal and eBay just responded by saying that the original decision was right. I never got any email from eBay or any request for clarification. I don't know what to do at this point. Any ideas?

You are not the first person today that has reported being a victim of this. Please see the links in the first response I posted for the last person for information on what to do and WHAT NOT TO DO when you are a victim of the fake tracking scam.
Those links will provide you with some options you have both with eBay or other places to get a refund. Hint. DO NOT FILE Item not received ANYWHERE when there is a tracking "delivered" notice for your order. There are other options, but do start thinking FRAUD/fake tracking scam and give up in the INR idea.
