Gift card will not work
I accepted a gift card for a refund on Ebay. Now I try to check out and it will not work. Tried choosing multiple different payment options, including PayPal, still will not work. Tried the mobile app - still not accepting the gift card, which is on my account and at the bottom of the payment screen. Went to Ebay "customer service" and they have been "calling back" for almost an hour, after claimed wait times of 3 minutes, then 4 minutes and now 8 minutes.

While a seller can offer to refund by sending you a gift card why would you trust them after you had to file a dispute? Before you can use one it has to be added to your account, but you should check its balance first. In the link below is an animated screen that shows you how to pay using the card.
