I’ve Bought two gift cards proved I’ve purchased them and I finally found out that My Gift cards are frozen! Sent in the proper information so on and so forth. I’ve read other people’s threads as well! EBAY HELP PLESE!

·5 months agoSorry that happened to you, @qgdt5280 . I hope it gets resolved. I almost bought those gift cards when eBay offered a deal, but am now glad that I didn't. eBay is one of the companies I do business with that I trust the least.

·5 months agoI assume, you have called the phone number on the back of the gift card & resolved the financial situation with the actual issuer of the card? That would be whom can help you.
If the funds were credited to your account or spent through ebay in some manner, then ebay is involved. If ebay declines acceptance of the gift cards, that would not impact their balance. That would be a technical ebay issue to find out why they declined them.

Have you checked the balances on the cards? Am assuming we're referring to eBay gift cards, right?

OP5 months agoYes All eBay gift cards. I’ve been getting the run around. I’ve given up at this point. They all keep saying they understand and they are going to help and I keep being told 1-7 business days. $300 lost. I’ve accepted my loses.

When did you purchase the gift cards and try to use them? If you bought and tried to use the cards on the same day there is an average 4 hour wait until after the store transmits the purchase info before the cards can be used. Some stores do not transmit purchase information as they are made, but "dump" their computers 1-4 times a day.
Since you only joined ebay in mid February and seemingly have yet to make any purchases, you may have run into ebay's New buyer limit, on how much you can spend and/or how many items you can purchase at one time. Usually in a 24 hour period. The link below explains the limits.
