Getting not available in your location error
Ive contacted ebay 2 times already and no solution. Overtime is try to purchase anything gun related it gives me a message saying these items are not available in my location. Ive been using VPN and thought it was that interfering, but I done a bypass for ebay on my VPN, ive tried to disabled VPN and refresh location, ive tried to uninstall ebay and re log in without VPN active , ive tried setting my location in ebay manually.... nothing works. Ebay takes notes and says they will forward it to another team and then I never here back from them again. Im in USA and in a state that doesn't have regulations and it only happens on gun parts or related items.

See if you can complete a purchase using a different network connection entirely, such as using the eBay app when not connected to your usual WiFi connection.

OP7 months agoI have VPN on my phone and that is where I primarily use ebay. I tried to get on a different network on a PC and it still wouldn't let me purchase the items .

"Im in USA and in a state that doesn't have regulations and it only happens on gun parts or related items".
Your state may not have restrictions on purchases made in state, but may restrict online purchases of some gun related items, High capacity magazines for example.
Because you were using a VPN when this first happened that is the most likely reason why you could not make the purchase(s). All of the steps you took to get rid of the VPN and closing /reopening your account would not work, since ebay keeps on file not only your ISP address but your home address and financial info.

OP7 months agoSo what would be a solution to it? How can I correct it? Ive been through every setting and I've contacted ebay and they claim they have to get some special team to look at it but they never get back to me.

·7 months agoIf the problem is your network connection, using an entirely different network connection should allow you to make a purchase.
If the problem is your eBay account, using a different account or purchasing as a guest should work.
If the problem is on the seller's end, neither of those will help, though.
