Gaming laptop from Kodiak alaska
I got a laptop the 29 of December and shipped 30th of December.
The last update was the 3rth of January and after that it's been at that date showing "in transit".
I'm trying to be patient but I don't know if putting I missing request is a good idea considering it's a high value item that usually gets stolen.

·9 months agoShipping during the holidays from Alaska to Puerto Rico is going to take a little while.
Go to your Purchases page and look at the latest estimated delivery date. That’s when you should start worrying.

·9 months agoBuyer doesn't say where they are located. Usually in bad weather, just like with planes, they don't ship, they hold at a location not in the bad weather so all the mail in the bad weather locations can be dealt with first. Can you just imagine all the mail cant get out, but more and more mail just keeps arriving?

·9 months agoWhen you click on the tracking does it say "running behind." I got several orders both as a seller and buyer which are running behind schedule. Was the last "in transit" tracking on January 3rd or what other day?

It's only been seven business days since the shipment for an item coming from a small Alaska town via a carrier that has been experiencing weather delays all over the country. I think it's way too early to worry.

OP9 months agoYou are probably right, though no tracking for a high value item is stressful.

You should contact your seller first and tell them what is going on and ask them to check with the shipper, and that if they start a missing package case ask them for its number. So you can check on the shipper's progress. You could do that yourself, but your seller can furnish info about the package, you do not have. If you do not hear back from the seller by Monday evening, and the last estimated delivery date has passed you can open an item not received (INR) dispute. However, since the package is in transit ebay is going to give the seller some time to try to get it moving.

·9 months agoIn the listing where you made your purchase, there was an estimated delivery date.
If that date was at least one day ago, you know you can open an item not received with eBay, right?
