Fraudulent Shipping
Just an FYI... I purchased an item on eBay, it didn't arrive...the post office tracking marked it as "will not be delivered, postage not paid". In speaking with the post office today, they're seeing a lot of incidences recently of fraudulent shipping labels where apparently sellers are using them so they can mark items as shipped and take purchasers' funds but not actually pay the shipping, and maybe the item gets through, maybe it doesn't. I hope eBay is on top of this as it seems like they would ultimately bear the cost of this, but something to keep in mind to protect yourself if this situation happens to you as a buyer.

·8 months agoAs a buyer, you simply need to open an Item Not Received case (from your Purchase History, choose the option for that order saying you didn’t receive the item). The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers you.
eBay will take that refund from the seller, so eBay is not out anything in most of these cases. That’s part of the reason sellers funds are held if they are new or have changes in their selling habits, or have an excessive number of problems.

·5 months agoThat is a different situation than what this thread was about, so I would suggest you open your own thread. When you do, make sure you give the details about what about the return label was said to be fraudulent and how you found out, along with any steps you have already taken and what the response from eBay has been.
