Fraudulent Seller!
I have several reports I have made to ebay about this fraudulent seller, this is one example:
This is a fraudulent seller and needs to be banned from eBay. Another example of seller inflating outrageous values. This item Title shows Superb - Reg Cancel, CV = $6500 as 95. This stamp would never be certified or graded Superb or 98S as stated in he description, with the 2 rounded corners, obvious thin, diagonal crease and writing on back. The description from seller can only be from a SMQ Value Guide that only values GRADED Certified stamps. Totally fraudulent description as this stamp is not graded or certified. Seller knows it takes 30-120 days to get certification returned on graded stamp and knows it will then be too late to get refund. Just takes their chances. This seller should be banned from ebay because a lot of his listings are misleading and I myself have warned him about this fraudulent activity.

·2 years agoSince you also sell stamps, they probably see you as a competitor and you are trying to get rid of your competition.
If buyers can't use the MBG, they can always go to their funding source and open a case for a refund.

One individual reporting an item or seller will not get ebay's attention because A) they have no idea if you really know what you are talking about. B) You could be a seller of similar items trying to get rid of their competition. Because of those two things they are not going to risk a lawsuit if they remove a seller or their listings, without absolute proof that they were trying to defraud people.
What @tinsoldierunderground wrote about buyers of collectibles educating themselves, is absolutely correct be it stamps, coins, movie posters, comic books, trading cards ... etc.. All of which can be and are listed by sellers who over grade or value their items. If someone educated enough takes a chance and buys from a seller like that, and when they receive their item, decides it is not properly described, they can return it. They do not have to send it out to be certified, in order to do that.
If a seller is consistently over pricing or evaluating their items they will not be selling very often at least to educated buyers. Especially, if they have to keep paying to have their item shipped back.

OP2 years agoThanks for the reply. This seller advertises stamp values as certified and graded although his are not. I purchased from him and sent a valuable stamp to PSE for grading and certification. Their certificate showed stamp basically worthless. THAT IS FRAUD. However, it took PSE over 100 days to return the item to me and the sellers response at that time was I was too late and nothing I could do about it. Ebay will do nothing about it and this seller knows that. He then changed his buffalostamps name by adding 2014 to it. I have not recourse but to try and warn other people of their fraudulent listing practices. Reporting to ebay does not good since i have reported the last 10 of his listings to them with no response.

·2 years agoIt's up to each individual buyer to educate themselves on this site, just like they should in the real world. You will find shady sellers here just like anywhere else in life. Ebay doesn't seem to put a lot of stock in members reporting fraudulent or dishonest listing. That's just the way it is.
