Yes. If the product is not what the seller advertised it to be, you can open a return request using a reason such as not as described, seems not authentic or something similar. The seller will be required to pay for a return postage label and then refund you once it is returned. You must open the return request within 30 days after the estimated or actual arrival date.

·2 years agoAnd if you miss the deadline you are also covered by Paypal if you use that and by the credit card you really used.
Paypal allows Claims for 180 days from payment.
PP does however demand that the buyer pay for return shipping, while eBay usually makes the seller pay for that.
Credit cards vary in their policies, but chargebacks are usually part of their services.
If you back your PP account with a debit card or a gift card, eBay cannot process a refund.
If you pay directly with a debit card or a gift card, eBay cannot process a refund.
So when buying online, use Paypal (or equivalent like Payoneer) and back it with a credit card.
