First time buying with large consignment
Hey,
So im not a big time buyer, just collect trading cards part time. I won my highest auction ever at over $600 recently with Probstein123.
Paid and in less than 12 hours it was marked as shipped...But there is no tracking information at all. Just looking for some advice or experiences with them
Their negative feedback is a fraction of a percent compared to the positive, but that being said, its still 1,500 negative experiences in the last year. And most of the feedback is based on cancelling orders, then reposting the same item. I saw a couple buyers say they asked about shipping and he just straight away cancels the order. Is that true?
I want to inquire about the tracking info but i also dont want to trigger him and just cancel my auction.
What are your experiences with them? Should i just wait for it without the tracking? Its an expensive card, and first time customer for them, hence the slight paranoia. Is it normal for big time sellers to not upload a tracking number? (Should note its not going through the AG program as im located in Canada)
Thanks

"What are your experiences with them?"
Something you need to realize is that less than 1% of ebay members post about issues on these boards, so asking if anyone has dealt with one particular seller may not get you any answers, from people who actually have dealt with them.
I have not personally dealt with that seller but have seen their username posted about on these boards for years. In looking at their feedback profile it looks like they are still having the same issues that they have had for a long time. They are a large enough company that they have many reviews online. They also sell items in other categories of collectibles, one of which I am involved with. Their reputation in that category is lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut.

The problem with checking the feedback for very high volume sellers is that the neutral ones do not count against their percentage. So you have to look at those comments as well. My general rule of thumb is to had half of the number of neutrals to the negative number, and recalculate their percentage. There is also the fact that as a very high volume seller, they can get feedback removed fairly easily. If a buyer gets a refund they can't leave a negative or if one was left it can be removed.

That is one of the recurring problems they have. Complaints about high shipping costs and poor packaging are one of their biggest problems.

You have to wait until the last estimated delivery date has passed, before you can file an Item Not Received (INR) dispute, through ebay. If that date passes with no tracking or updates past a label being created, the next day you can file an INR.

·2 years agoWhile WE do not have any experience with them... you can read the feedback to see what buyers have experienced.

·2 years agoMost do, but sellers are not required to provide tracking numbers or let you know if it's been shipped.
You can contact the seller and see if they'll reply, some of those big sellers won't.
Ebay gave you an estimated delivery date, just keep an eye on it.
