Fedex year old tracking number eBay says delivered.

I will wait a bit to see if this clears up. It says delivered on my purchases page. Tracking shows a different state a year ago.

I do not think any of us can say or sure that the automated INR system would pick up on the different state or the Delivered date from last year.
I'd go directly to one of ebay's social media platforms and file a report noting the Delivered date and the zip not being yours, there attaching a scan or saved screen shot of the FedEx tracking info which should also show the day/month/year the label was created. You have enough proof for the rep who fields your message to issue a refund. By not going through the regular INR system you may even be able to leave an appropriate feedback that is not removable.

OP6 months agoI got through on the phone. Took almost 2 hours talking to them. They said I should win the case and to get back after 3 days if needed. They never used to give an NARU any more time. It now shows INR cases filed. eBay has not offered that choice to me.
It looks like eBay's software is written as a state machine. However it seems to use more than one state control variable so it can be in different states at the same time, a real no no in coding.
One part said it was delivered while another gave a range of delivery dates. The AI automated system just hung and issued an error. Their phone reps were also quite confused. They did see the delivered a year ago tracking however.

On the eBay tracking is says Arrives Fri, Mar 13 - Thu, Mar 19 Does not show shipped
On Fedex it says Delivered Friday, 3/21/25 at 3:56 PM

·6 months agoMaybe seller added tracking number(not an eBay label) but bought postage and forgot to mark it 'shipped'.
OR you got played...meaning seller using an old tracking number.
Check your seller feedbacks to see how good seller is.
