Faulty Item
I purchased an item (it was a box of 48 single bars of a certain brand of chocolate). When it arrived the box was damaged and very worn. When i opened the box all of them apart from 7 are opened so unable to use it for my business. I messaged the seller with photos and they are refusing to do anything. The item cost me £27. What else can i do?

·1 year agoHi, You're on ebay.com, which is the US site. Sometimes the eBay policies and procedures for the US are not the same as for the UK. You might get better replies if you go to

Here's a link to eBay's buyer protection policy, which they call the "Money Back Guarantee". This is the US policy but the UK policy is probably the same: You should file a case for item not as described. Then if the seller wants the item back, they must provide a prepaid shipping label.

·1 year agoDid you file an item not as described case and return the goods if requested to? That is the eBay procedure to deal with items that arrive not as described.

·1 year agoAccording to the sellers feedback reply they said they asked you to return the chocolate bars for a refund or exchange and that you declined to do that....if that is true then you did this to yourself.

·1 year agoAccording to feedback, the seller asked you to return the item for a refund but you refused. Why did you refuse? That's standard process.
