Today I was searching for sports cards that have been graded 10. I set eBay's search feature to show graded 10 cards. Unfortunately I was going fast and placing offers on cards based on trusting the seller correctly listed the item and based on seeing a large bold "Condition: Graded 10" right next to the make an offer button. Because they are graded cards, there was no reason to view pictures up close because a PSA 10 is a PSA 10. However, it turns out this seller listed a PSA 9 and simply put the condition as PSA 10 and put PSA 10 in the eBay item specifics which is search manipulation. eBay clearly stats on the listing, "Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing." I'm conflicted because I could have / should have noticed the title said PSA 9 even though the item specifics and item condition said PSA 10. If I zoomed in the picture I'd also have seen it was PSA 9 instead of PSA 10. Generally this would be a simply, "I'm sorry, I noticed this was listed with a condition of PSA 10 when it's really a PSA 9, please cancel." But of course I run into the one jerk on eBay that sticks to a "too bad, it's no refunds and I'm not cancelling" type response. It's ridiculous that eBay even removed a negative feedback I left stating the seller manipulated search results and listed as a PSA 10 based on eBay 100% protecting sellers who declined to accept a cancellation request. Is this all on me because I should have known something was off, or is this something that a credit card chargeback likely takes care of based on seller refusing to cancel on Sunday before it was shipped and seller refusing to accept a return? Sure "it clearly is a PSA 9" in the picture, but the advertisement also clearly says the condition I'm receiving is a PSA 10 graded card.
